In my youth I always had an artistic side. I was attracted to the style of older vehicles and I began owning and working on them as soon as I could drive. Shortly after graduating high school, I was lucky enough to land a position as an "Automotive Refinish Color Specialist" for BASF Corporation, in their North American Automotive Refinish and Development Laboratory located in Whitehouse Ohio. As a "color matcher", I was responsible for matching new and older OEM colors of any and all automotive manufacturers. This gave me a great incite into the complexities of formulating factory and customs colors with the use of pigments, metallic's, pearls, and candy colors.
From there, I began to assistant some of the brightest Chemists in the Automotive Refinish business as a "Laboratory Technician". This allowed me to get a good understanding of what it takes to develop a long lasting automotive refinish product and the proper way to use it. As I grew in this position, I began to utilize BASF's "state of art" Application Facilities painting anything I could get my hands.
Before long, I was lead "Application Specialist" supporting all BASF's North American research and development departments. This task allowed me to spray and test all manufacturers refinish products on a daily basis, along with assisting technical support, and building and painting BASF's marketing and specialties projects. I also I began to venture across the globe giving product demonstrations, assist in training seminars, and lending my experience to the BASF sales forces. BASF sound familiar? You've seen there products on TV shows like, OVERHAULIN, RIDES, and DREAM CAR GARAGE! Its used by the worlds best builders!

But, as my love grew for custom cars and the marketing side of the business, so did the urge to move on to a new adventure. In 2001, the book was closed on BASF and "Blesings Hot Rods, Customs, and Cycles" was formed.
Approaching our 10th year, we've kept busy on a long list of award winning projects. From multiple Detroit Autorama, Super Chevy, Goodguys winners, to even a SEMA Ford Design Award, I'm proud to be specializing in beautiful, long lasting finishes!

We've kept the small shop busy operating only by "word of mouth". This is the first time we're showing off our talents. Even though we are still busy, we would like to branch out and find new and different projects and people to work with. From ground up builds to giving your current ride a fresh look, we can handle all your needs and bring your dream to life. Not sure what to do, let us help come up with the project that fits your tastes, style, and budget!

  Thank you for looking,
